Strangers in Berlin
Strangers in BerlinI challenged myself to make two street portraits a day while i’m in Berlin. Yesterday I met this beautiful couple. They were so sweet and very proud to be photographed. I quickly learned why. They met each other as children in the desert. She was on the run from Yemen (by foot), he from Jerusalem. They fled to Berlin. To survive the holocaust years later. But they are still here. And the whole world should know that they are.
